Was my first time stopping in this morning and the barista was so helpful and kind! It's easy to get overwhelmed when you go to a new coffee place with all the crazy terms and flavors, but the menu was (extremely😊) aesthetically pleasing and easy to understand. The shop was very clean and the food and drink I got were awesome. There were a lot of choices in case you have dietary restrictions too. Between my sandwich, drink, and acaí bowl, I thought my total would be a lot more - it ended up being less $ than when I get two specialty drinks at Starbucks...and here you are supporting locally owned business (by a 21 year old?!), not a huge corporation. Definitely give it a try! Ube latte- Instagram worthy and tastes great. Acaí bowl- I got the #1- Strawberries, banana, kiwi, & coconut on top. I've honestly never tried acaí but it was great and a refreshing choice for breakfast. I also got the breakfast sandwich on the jalapeño biscuit. The batista said it has a kick if you like spicy food. It definitely has a kick and tasted amazing. A great addition to the Cedar Valley, and dangerous being right by my work 😏

The ambiance was great. Just quiet enough to chat but not too quiet to feel awkward. The server was amazing. I think her name was Kaitlyn. There was another gal and she was sweet as well. The seating option were just right and I felt comfortable.

The Savvy Bean is an absolute gem! My personal go to is a dirty chai and any açaí bowl (personal favorite is the #1). Whether you’re a local or just traveling through, this place is a must stop. The newly renovated space is so warm and welcoming and their seasonal menu changes have all sorts of fun drinks!

I love that there’s a place in the cedar valley with açaí AND lattes! The staff here is incredibly kind and cheerful. The seating is cozy and a great place to hang out with friends or to study!

Tried the Savy Bean for the first time today and I will definitely be going back! I got one of their specials, the cookies and scream coffee bucket. It was delicious, AND super reasonably priced.

What a gem! The staff was delightful and provided recommendations. There was a great spot in the front for our kids to sit and color while mom and dad enjoyed a nice coffee “date”. It was so good, we came back Sunday for the coffee flights! SO worth it!

This is my favorite coffee shop in the Cedar Valley! I go there so often. Wonderful food and delicious coffee. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy too. Perfect place to do work or meet up with friends!

I found out about the Savvy bean just a few months ago and let’s just say I very quickly began choosing The Savvy Bean over any chain coffee shop I enjoyed before. They just don’t compare! Every time I visit I’m greeted with a smile and a warm atmosphere! You can really see, feel and most importantly taste the love that has went into this coffee shop! If you haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, I highly recommend!

Super cute coffee shop in downtown Waterloo. I ordered an iced latte with vanilla bean and caramel syrup with an extra shot of espresso and it was delicious. Strong, but with a little sweetness. My daughter ordered a blended vanilla bean and caramel syrup latte normal, it was sweet but yummy. Staff is friendly, and as soon as we sat down the npc’s spawned!!! The place filled up fast.
